I can't tell you how many times people have asked me, "How do I connect my phone to my projector?" The first thing that has to be said is that you need a phone and a projector. That's it. No cables,   Image source: https://www.dell.com/ There are two methods for connecting the two together: wireless and wired connection. Wireless connection   Image source: https://www.croma.com/ The wireless connection you see on the projector is an infrared (IR) port. On your phone, you'll need to plug in the phone's Bluetooth antenna through the headphone jack. This allows your phone to communicate with your projector's IR port.    Image source: https://na.panasonic.com/ The point of this is that you won't have a cable running across your room and disrupting the flow of air. Since there are no wires, there should be no signal drop outs or signal loss, and it should also charge faster since there are fewer cables.   Image source: https://www.lg.com/ Method 1
